# Quickstart

> From signup to your first notification in under 5 minutes.

    Head to [yoinka.com](https://yoinka.com) and sign up. You can use Google or email.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Upload your resume">
    Drop a PDF or DOCX on the [Resumes](/features/resumes) page. Yoinka parses it so the extension can autofill applications.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Create your first Monitor">
    Go to **Monitors → New** and describe the role you want. Example names:

    * *SWE Internship*
    * *Senior Frontend — Remote*
    * *ML / AI Engineer*

    Add keywords and companies you care about. See [Monitors](/features/monitors) for the full anatomy of a monitor.

  <Step title="Pick where to get notified">
    Set up a [channel](/features/channels) — email, Slack, or Discord. You can have multiple.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Wait for your first match">
    Yoinka polls company careers pages on a schedule. First match usually lands within an hour.

  <Step title="One-click apply (extension)">
    Once the Chrome [extension](/extension/overview) ships, click the notification, land on the application page, click the Yoinka button, and you're done.
